Scheemda,The Netherlands - The signing of the contract for the construction of a "bovenkruiende beltmolen" type of authentic Dutch Windmill in the City of Fulton, IL. by the Dutch firms of Lowlands Management, Molema Millbuilders and Havenga Construction.
Mayor Leegwater of the City of Scheemda, welcoming mayor Paul Sikkema of the City of Fulton. Mr. Sikkema is presented with a pair of original Groningen klompen (wooden shoes) to be worn during the next Dutch Days in Fulton, IL.

The signing of the contract in front of windmill "De Dellen". Mr. Paul Sikkema for the City of Fulton and Mr. Bert Bulder for Lowlands Management. Windmill "De Dellen" was relocated to its present site and restored by Molema Millbuilders some years ago.
